Friends of the Library
The "Friends" are a group of local citizens volunteering to help the library by providing services that can not be provided for by the library's present budget. The services that the "Friends" provide fall into three broad categories:
- Service to the library
- Service to the community
- Fund raising for the library
Within these three broad categories there are volunteer jobs for those who wish to work with people, for those who like to work with books and for those with creative talents.
Membership
Friends of the Ridgefield Free Public Library is a nonprofit tax exempt association composed of volunteers. Membership is open to all interested in promoting its purposes.
