Computers, Printing, Scanning & Wi-Fi
The Ridgefield Public library provides free wireless internet access. On your device's settings, select the wireless network named "Library-AP." No password is required.
The Library also has desktop computers available for public use. Please sign up at the Circulation Desk to use a computer.
For those who wish to plug in their laptops, there are outlets in different locations throughout the library.
The library does not provide a connection for laptops to the printers. Laptop users need to save their documents to a USB drive to use the library’s printers.
Multiple-page scanning to a USB flash drive is now available with our copier/printer. Don't have a flash drive? No worries. Just ask to borrow one at the Circulation desk. Once you have saved the document or picture to a USB drive, you can email it to yourself using one of our public computers. If you have borrowed our USB drive, you should delete your file before returning the flash drive.
